ANNOUNCEMENT

It is with great sadness to announce that we have decided to call it a day as Jumping Ships. It has been an amazing four and a half years - and due to a change in focus for all of us we feel that the time has come to sign it off.

A massive thanks goes to all the promoters for putting us on, old and new friends for letting us stay, and to everyone that came to see us and hopefully e

njoyed the music that we made. Special thanks to; Jack Alcopop, Rick Moreno, Will Puxley, Faye Lewis, Andy Ritchie, Katie P, Matt Walker, Jenna Lee, Tom Aylott, Tom Barnes, Ryan Crashburn, all of our Brighton friends, the city of Hastings and of course Tristan Hall, Alex Pott and Tom Heron.

There will be one last hooorahhh and this will be a free entry show at The Old Blue Last on the 7th November - supports still TBC. We also plan to sort a final Brighton show before the year is out.

We will be doing a limited run of our final single ‘Cut The Cold Out’ - in perfect time for the impending winter season. This track was recorded by Chris Coulter and will feature on a four track CD which includes; two remixes (one by ‘Maybeshewill’) and an acoustic version of ‘Movers and Shakers’. The release will surface online via our bandcamp page and you can purchase physical copies at the final shows.

Thanks so much for the support guys - it is really sad that this has come to an end.

It is with regret that due to circumstances out of our control we will no longer be playing the Freeze The Atlantic Album Launch on 14th Sept. This also unfortunately applies to our shows in Hastings, Southampton, Leicester, Liverpool, Nottingham and Manchester.

We are absolutely gutted to have to pull the shows but unfortunately there is no other option at the moment. We will look to reschedule the shows in before the end of the year.

Thanks so much for your continued support. We are putting a new acoustic video up online tonight at 7pm.

Let me first start by saying a massive thanks to everyone that came out to see us on our March tour. It was our best tour yet and we couldn’t have done it without you. In fact we liked it so much that we are going back out on tour with our other awesome label mates ‘The Social Club’ - here are the dates;

We are of course back at The Pav Tav for the awesome Great Escape Festival. Our stage time is 6pm..if you remember it last year.. it was one in one out all day. so get down there early. We really hope that you guys enjoyed hearing the new material on the last tour - we are nearing the end of what has been a long period of writing for us.. and believe me it is all going to be worth the wait ;-)

As of 2012 we will no longer be working with Alex Pott - After two great years we wish all the best for the future.

We are excited to welcome our new drummer Oli Austen. We are super stoked to have Oli in the band - he is an amazing drummer and a bit of all round musical genius!

As a special thankyou to Alex for his time in the band our good friend David Tressler put together a little montage video for our track ‘Movers and Shakers’. David recorded us on four dates of our last tour in August 11’.

Amazing Radio - New Music Tour + Show Announcement

Kyle Wilkinson at Amazing Radio has been doing a ‘New Music Tour’ on his afternoon show. The tour took him to Brighton where he interviewed Michael all about the band and the local scene - they also played ‘The Whole Truth’.

We have also just been confirmed to headline the Bull and Gate, Kentish Town (London) on the 10th November for Amazing Radio and Club Fandango. This is going to be our last London show of the year and is going to be huge! Special giveaways to be announced by the weekend! Keep posted!

The wonderful chaps at Rocksound this month have done an exposure feature on us. The article focusses on our old material in relation to our newer material – it’s a darn fine read (muchos thanks to Andy Ritchie for putting the words down).

A new as yet unheard EP track is on the covermount CD as well – Broken English.

Also our EP is reviewed and gets a strong 8/10 – good times all round.
